Our reception is about 25 minutes away from the ceremony location, so I'm hoping that there's not a lot of snow on that day so the drive is easy for guests. This is the only reception location we looked at, and I fell in love the moment we walked in the door.
There is a pub in the downstairs of the building that we will be renting so that our guests that are smokers do not have to go outside in the Wisconsin winter to smoke.
I'm not a huge fan of the chairs, so we will definitely be renting linens. I'm renting them from a small one-woman company, and she was really sweet. We're doing black tablecloths and chair covers with deep red "crinkly" chair sashes on the guest tables. The head table will have a white table cloth and white chair covers, with the deep red "crinkly" chair sashes and the ever-present tulle draping across the front.
The entryway table with the seating chart and guestbook frame, the cake table, and the gift table will all just have white table cloths with red rose petals scattered over the top.
